Marks & Spencer chooses the services of ICL for its EEMEA Franchisee HUB project. |
Marks & Spencer, one of the UK’s leading retailers, with over 21 million people visiting its stores each week, offer stylish, high quality, great value clothing and home products, as well as outstanding quality foods, responsibly sourced from around 2,000 suppliers globally.
Marks & Spencer of UK and ICL Transport Turkey have signed an agreement for warehousing services in Turkey. According to the agreement ICL Transport will be acting as the EEMEA Regional Hub for Marks & Spencer for its products to be delivered to its Franchisees in Eastern Europe, Turkey, CIS and Middle East.
With this agreement and the new business structure, shipments manufactured in Turkey, Middle East, North Africa and Europe will be consolidated in ICL MS Hub in Istanbul and be delivered according to the orders received from the franchisees around the world .
For this system to work more efficiently, ICL WMS team has modified its software to asist the requirements of M&S Team in UK. The site ICL use for the M&S Hub operation is able to assist 1 m. pieces of garments on Hangers as well as 45,000 m3 of warehousing space for boxed shipments.
